Point Loma - Entering Cabrillo National Monument

Not too long ago the entry to the park was free, now it's $5 per car or $15 for a one year pass. Quite a few years ago you could drive around the lighthouse, now it's walking traffic only (unless you have a handicap placard).

Point Loma - Vistor Center

On the East side facing the city is the Visitor Center. There's a bookstore, restrooms and soda machines. Seems like a perfect place for a nice restaurant or coffee house.

Point Loma - Looking West

The road going down the hill on the west side of the lighthouse to the tidepools, etc.

Point Loma - Bunker

This one is on the West (Pacific) side and closer to the entrance of the park. It's up a little dirt trail from a small structure with WWII maps and video. I found it only recently.

Point Loma - West Edge Trail

This path leads from the Bunker in other image along the edge towards the paved path that encircles the lighthouse.

Point Loma - East Side Trail

There's a paved road out to some structures and antennas you can walk partially. Then there's a dirt path from this road that goes almost all the way to the bottom. It takes me about 30 minutes from the parking lot to the end of the dirt trail.
